About Us

Welcome to the Houston Society for Coatings Technology. Our society was inducted in 1943 as the twenty third member of the original group of paint societies more broadly referred to as The Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology. The Federation’s Mission Statement is below:

“The mission of the FSCT is to provide educational and professional development and to advance the technical expertise of its members and the global coatings industry through its publications, technical conferences, and online training programs.”

The objective of our society is to serve our Houston community of manufacturers and distributors with this same spirit of professional support. Through technical meetings, social events and community outreach we help our members to stay engaged and informed regarding events that effect our shared industries.
